Catalogs
Filed under: Business and Office, Environment and/or Green, General Life, shopping; Tagged as: costs, green, shoppingComments OffI thought that the mail order catalogs prior to the Christmas season was overwhelming! Now we are getting catalogs upon catalogs from flower and seed companies, and catalogs from discount places and clothing places that are trying to clearance out their overstocked items. What an outrageous waste of paper and ink!

One thing that I wasn’t blessed in getting from my mother is her great skin. That woman has the nicest skin I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing and feeling. She smells pretty great too. Anyway I have been dealing with Acne issues for most of my lifetime and it doesn’t appear that I’ll ever “outgrow” it.
My kid sister sent me a link in her email last night for a product called Resurgence that is supposed to wok well for folks with the same skin issues that I’m dealing with. She even told me where to go to get some Murad Coupon Codes to help get a better deal on this stuff that she is so hyped up about lately and has made me promise to order and give a try. If I don’t she will pester and harass me until she gets her way, she always has and most likely always will. She is a brat but I love her just the same.

Time is Money
Filed under: Business and Office, Computers and/or Internet, Money, shopping, technology; Tagged as: business, costs, money, shoppingComments OffTime is money. This is specially true in the business world. A company does not want their employees to waste any time. “Time’s a wastin’” is the same thing as “Wasting money” in the corporate world. In this worsening horrific economy, everyone and every business are struggling to make ends meet. That is why it is even more important to find the best deals on equipment and supplies. There is a website called officedeals.info that is designed to help the consumer (whether a private individual or a business) find the best online deals, promotion codes, coupons and discounts, for office supplies such as Vistaprint business cards, software, computers, office furniture, and back-to-school supplies.

Playing Big Money Games
Filed under: Business and Office, Computers and/or Internet, General Life, Money, technology, Travel; Tagged as: business, costs, gas, oilComments OffThe oil industry is playing games with the American consumer. They say that the prices are high because demand is high. However, I was reading an article on the Time.com website that indicates that the demand has decreased significantly because the prices are so high. And because the demand has decreased, the refineries are making less gasoline, causing a deliberate shortage, to keep the prices artificially high. The increasing costs of fossil fuels will make it harder for people to travel for business OR for pleasure! I think this is just more proof that the United States needs to develop alternative fuel sources so we won’t have to depend on fossil fuels at all.

I’m glad to see over the past few days that the price of gasoline is coming down just a little bit. Over the past week it has gone down about fifteen cents! In my opinion, the price is still outrageous and I really wish that the US would find alternative sources of fuel for our consumption, but I’m still glad it has gone down! Having said that, I’m not planning on doing a lot of unnecessary driving, I’m still trying to minimize my travel expenses!
