I like to buy a lot of presents at Christmas time.  I admit it, I am NOT a scrooge!  At least not yet!  I like to buy lots of gifts for lots of people, and play Santa Claus.  Many times I’ll give a gift to someone and simply write “from Santa” on the tag so that they don’t know who actually gave them the gift.  Of course it’s a nice gift (all right, every now and then it’s a lump of coal!) and it brings me a lot of joy to watch them open the gift and see the delight in their faces.

In order to buy all of those presents, I have to be paying close attention to the Black Friday shopping bargains.  The news station that I listen to was having a story today about shopping on Black Friday and they mentioned using some  Black Friday websites to help find the best deals.  I like the black-friday.net website; it has most all of the merchants that I like to shop with on their list of merchants.  One of the things I like about I’ll be keeping a close eye out for the Black Friday wal-mart ad to see what kind of great bargains I can get online from the Wal-Mart website.  I’ll also be keeping a close eye on the Sports Authority list to see what kind of skiing or skating equipment and/or clothing they may put on their list of specials.   I’ve signed up for their email list so they can send me a notice when they get new ads uploaded from their vendors.

I have always dreamed of one day taking a nice long trip over to England and if there was enough time it would be great to check out Ireland as well. These places have always held a place in my heart due to the fact that these are the places that my ancestors are from and I’ve heard so many stories about these people and these places.

What I wouldn’t give to attend the 2012 Olympics that are scheduled to take place in London come next July. To be able to enjoy this event, something that I have never been able to attend either, in London would be a dream come true. I know a couple of people that have purchased tickets and found affordable London Apartments to stay in online and are counting the days until all the festivities begin on July 27, 2012, I’m truly envious of them. I understand that there are still some London Apartments left to rent, but if you are planning on going over there and still haven’t found a place to stay I would encourage you to get off it and get right on it. Wish I was going with you all.

Every time that Teri and I go over to her cousin Andrew’s house the conversation turns to body building. Andrew turned part of his house into a home gym so that we were not have to go out to work out. He is always talking about the latest equipment or supplements that he is thinking about buying. Seems to me that he wants to be a serious competitor and the Mr. Universe contest!

Don’t get me wrong I do like to be in good physical condition but I don’t feel the need to be able to bench press twice my own body weight! (Although it would be awesome to be able to rescue people trapped under burning cars by lifting the car up with only one hand while taking my prohormones with the other!)

The biggest worry that I have to be perfectly honest is that I have heard from a lot of different sources that focusing on bodybuilding can be detrimental to one’s health. And I think that before I started taking any supplements designed for body building I would consult my doctor.  I would hate to be killing myself while I’m trying to look good.  Besides, Teri already likes the way I look!

Looks like I’ll be spending most of the up and coming weekend over at my bud’s house assisting him with the kitchen remodeling job that he has started and needs some help with. I don’t mind really, lord knows that he has helped me out numerous times with various tasks inside and outside around here. At least we will be inside, because it is supposed to rain most of the time.

One of the projects is the installing of the nice looking and affordable glass mosaic tiles that he ordered off of the Internet. His wife was instrumental in the decision of using these mosaic tiles made of glass, seems her mother turned her onto the idea because a friend of hers had a “gorgeous” mosaic glass tiles in her bathroom that everyone fell in love with and the idea just keeps spreading from person to person, house to house. You know how females are about things like this.

At least there will plenty of beer and some football games that we can get into during the time I am there, all work and no play makes John a very dull boy!

I do so enjoy razzing my kid brother every chance that I get, I mean that is what big brothers do with their kid brothers right? Last weekend we all had a nice dinner at our parent’s house and the kidding and harassing didn’t take long to begin, but to be honest I wasn’t the only one, we all carry one with each other at these family functions.

My kid brother is a real sports buff and he has been talking a lot about this Melanie Collins who is this good looking blond Sports and Entertainment Host that is getting so popular here as of late. So of course I had to start in on him about his blond fetish that has been going on for as long as I can remember since he discovered the opposite sex years ago and telling some stories that I’m afraid he wasn’t so happy for some of the other family members to hear. I have to admit that she is a real good looking young woman and I can see why they would hire some one like her for all that she does for the sports fans. You can see for yourself, I took a few minutes and looked her up online and found some great pics of her to send to him.  LOL
