Looks like I’ll be spending most of the up and coming weekend over at my bud’s house assisting him with the kitchen remodeling job that he has started and needs some help with. I don’t mind really, lord knows that he has helped me out numerous times with various tasks inside and outside around here. At least we will be inside, because it is supposed to rain most of the time.

One of the projects is the installing of the nice looking and affordable glass mosaic tiles that he ordered off of the Internet. His wife was instrumental in the decision of using these mosaic tiles made of glass, seems her mother turned her onto the idea because a friend of hers had a “gorgeous” mosaic glass tiles in her bathroom that everyone fell in love with and the idea just keeps spreading from person to person, house to house. You know how females are about things like this.

At least there will plenty of beer and some football games that we can get into during the time I am there, all work and no play makes John a very dull boy!

I do so enjoy razzing my kid brother every chance that I get, I mean that is what big brothers do with their kid brothers right? Last weekend we all had a nice dinner at our parent’s house and the kidding and harassing didn’t take long to begin, but to be honest I wasn’t the only one, we all carry one with each other at these family functions.

My kid brother is a real sports buff and he has been talking a lot about this Melanie Collins who is this good looking blond Sports and Entertainment Host that is getting so popular here as of late. So of course I had to start in on him about his blond fetish that has been going on for as long as I can remember since he discovered the opposite sex years ago and telling some stories that I’m afraid he wasn’t so happy for some of the other family members to hear. I have to admit that she is a real good looking young woman and I can see why they would hire some one like her for all that she does for the sports fans. You can see for yourself, I took a few minutes and looked her up online and found some great pics of her to send to him.  LOL

I am so very proud of my parents who are on a mission to get more senior citizens on the Internet. There are still way too many of them that are intimidated by the whole World Wide Web idea and they really need to get over that and get educated so that they can take advantage of everything that it has to offer each and every one of us, besides email and photo viewing and sharing which is just about all that many senior citizens are able to. It is a great start but there is so much more to it that they could benefit from.

One thing comes to mind that would benefit so many folks is the medicare part d issue that is being talked about so much. There is a great website – medicareconsumerguide.com -  that they could turn to to get assistance and information about. Things like this are so very important and I wish my parents luck with their hard work in getting more seniors online, I’m so very proud of them, guess I can’t say that enough!

Quartz Crystals have long fascinated me. I like to hold the quartz crystal in my hand and just feel the energy.  I carry a crystal in my left pocket and rub it in my hand from time to time during the day.  It brings me a sense of calmness and focus.

The Divinecrystals.com.au website is a very interesting website that sells crystals and talks about their healing properties.  Maybe I should buy my mother one of their crystal gifts – they have a nice Amazonite egg with ring stand that would look really nice on my mother’s curio cabinet shelf.

I have never really been into the whole Google Page Rank thing. For the longest time I wasn’t even aware of Page Rank issues and was surprised to find out how important this issue is to so many people and businesses. I am seeing what I believe to be a good amount of affordable seo services being offered all over the Internet. Personally I still don’t give a hoot about my Page Ranking on this blog, but I can understand how it can play havoc for so many people, so I’m glad that there are ways to improve your Page Ranking with the All Mighty Google folks.

And I really like the idea that some of these services are advertising that you don’t owe them a dime unless their services are successful, that is a nice guarantee to take advantage of and I’d like to see more of that type of guarentee for many more services online and off.
