All the news this past year has been about illegal immigration and teacher unions getting bashed, with most of the immigration issues coming from Arizona. Although Texas has a lot of trouble with it, too, Arizona has been in the news for their state-based legislation requiring documentation and giving police a lot of latitude.

So, I was not real happy to find out that my sister is going to Arizona with the thought of moving there. She is all excited about some guy she met on the internet, who lives in Pima. I don’t even know where Pima is, so I looked it up on Google maps to see if it was too close to the border with all that immigration trouble. Turns out that Pima is in the southeastern part of the state, about halfway between Tuscon and Phoenix.

She laughs at me for being worried about it, but if she gos to Pima I want her to be safe, and
home security pima is the first thing to arrange if she’s going to move there. This city is so far out on the edge of the desert I doubt they even have cable there. If she wants to get TV, she’s going to have to use Direct TV, which in a lot of ways is even better than cable. She can choose from a lot of different programming and rates packages, and get plenty of good TV – even out in the Arizona desert.

It seems that most people are turning to the Internet concerning health issues. After we get back from the doctor’s office we are going straight to the computer to find out more about the conditions or concerns that the doctor has just laid upon us, which in my opinion is a good thing. Knowledge is power, the more you know about something that concerns you the better.

I have found a good Health Directory that I turn to, so far it has always provided me with the information that I’ve been seeking. This Health and Wellness Directory can be found at the-health-directory.net and I’d like to pass it along to others here on my blog. As we get older, most of us are finding ourselves dealing with numerous health issues. Doctors don’t always have the time to explain a lot of things to us since they are scheduling patients every 15 minutes, there is always someone else in another room that needs their time. It is frustrating, but that is where a good Health and Fitness Directory comes into play. It’s got all of the time in the world for you and they don’t charge you a dime for it. It looks like we are catching a small break with the price of gas this past week. At first I just thought it was one station, but the further I drove the more gas stations that I passed all sporting a lower price. We were almost to the point of hitting the $4 mark and now we are seeing the prices around $3.69. I can only hope that they keep going down and down and then down some more.

Today I’ve been poking around Youtube and watching “How To” videos. I came across the  MA Youtube Channel and learned about a way to start your own business without having to do it all alone or as a franchisee. For a lot of people, the idea of going it alone is part of the excitement of a new venture, but for a lot of people, that is the one thing holding them back. It’s very scary to go out there completely on your own, especially when you family and relatives are all negative about the idea and can’t be counted on to do even one thing to help – not even give you a little encouragement.

From the video that caught my interest, I checked out the web site of Market America and learned a little about becoming a distributor for their products. According to Market America Facts, this is a great way to start your own business and not have to go it alone. They make everything you need available and have hundreds of others before you who are making a good living working their program as distributors.

The part of a website that I especially like to check out is a blog, if they feature one. The company blogs are where you get the whole story, from a more casual perspective. A blog is where they can express themselves and share the real deal. So I read theMarket America Blog and bookmarked it, so I can go back later tonight and read over it all again.

On June 15th of this year I will have celebrated 6 months of being sober. Lord knows how desperately I could use a drink. This has been a long hard 6 months and I can’t believe that I have made it almost one full year.

It is too bad that I haven’t not heard one person tell me that it gets easier after the first year! Oh well, nothing to stress about, right? I’m planning to keep on doing what I do and surely hope that one day I won’t even think about it – I’ll just be on autopilot and not even missing it.
