I’m glad that they just opened up a new Starbucks in town. It has a drive through which is an important feature for me. I hate having to go some where, find a parking place and then to stand in line. Being able to drive up and drive away with all that I want and need is more my style.

I wouldn’t even consider applying for a credit card without doing my homework and putting in some time researching all of my options these days. With so many credit card offers being thrown at us, in a time that most people need to stop using their credit cards, it pays to make a wise and educated decision before signing on the dotted line. There are numerous sites that are dedicated to credit card reviews and ratings that can take a big chunk out of the leg work that is necessary to find the perfect credit card for your wants and needs.

I’ve always had good luck with citi credit cards. My mother insisted that I have one when I moved out from under my parents house, which I’m glad she did. She explained how important it is to have at least one credit card to be used for emergencies that life throws at us from time to time, as well as other important information about the advantages and of course the disadvantages of credit cards that I’m glad she took the time to inform and educate me about back then. So I’m grateful for her efforts that kept me from making some disastrous mistakes that could have cost me a pretty penny through out the years.

She has always had her chase credit cards that she has depended on for many years and she has tried to get me to switch over, but as I stated before I’m happy with my citi credit card. When I find a good thing I will stick with it until it no longer serves it’s purpose, so I’m good to go right now and see no reason to switch over at this point.

I really don’t follow a whole lot of politics. I don’t even watch the evening news anymore since they quite airing any good or hopeful stories or headlines. If I really need to know about something I can usually easily find it on my laptop when I can or want to. Today’s headline is all about our Federal Government not having to shut down with a last minute decision that billions of people are very happy with, at least for the time being. What a bunch of stress and drama our government has once again provided with us at a time when we are overflowing with enough stress and drama as it is.

One of the things that I rarely think about is how bad weather can affect homeowners that have swimming pools.  But this year I’ve noticed a lot of my neighbors have had some pretty interesting things happen to their pools.  One of them had several trees fall into their pool, thanks to a lightning strike.  Another had some lawn furniture blow into his pool thanks to high winds. 

These things take a heavy toll on pool liners.  I don’t know what the life expectancy is on pool liners, but just the thought of having to empty out the pool and replace the liner makes me shudder!  Pools are nice; don’t get me wrong, but I think I’m just as happy not having one in my back yard!

I’ve never been into collecting coins, although I know a lot of folks that do that enjoy showing the off to someone that will care to sit, look and listen for however long you can stand it!

This site has just about anything you need to know about the day’s gold price along with good related issues and articles galore. Of course there are pages and pages and pages of coins listed and offered for sale, which would make any collector excited to see and learn about, possibly even purchase now and then. Just thought I’d pass along a good thing for the day.
