I wasn’t really very surprised when Dean told me that he was planning to take a gmat review course sometime over this coming summer break. Considering that his IQ was recently measured to be around 145 and that he has always earned straight A’s throughout his entire academic career, I would not think that he would ever really feel the need to take any kind of preparation test for his admission to a Masters Degree, but knowing how meticulous he is I guess that I should always just expect things like that from him!
Dean says that he just wants to be as prepared as possible before taking the exam. He’s never been a big fan of surprises, and I have to admit that a large part of his success in academia has been due to his diligent preparation in addition to his innate ability to learn. Some people are really lucky to have been born with the ability to learn things easily, and when you combine it with dedication and a good work ethic then you can expect that person to excel at anything that he sets his mind to!
From what I understand, several companies offer GMAT Prep courses, but I don’t know which company Dean will be using. Whichever one he uses, I’m sure that he’ll pass the exam with flying colors!

Since we are experiencing all the April showers now, in the month of March, it makes me wonder what the actually month of April will bring us, weather wise. Nothing seems to be “normal” weather anymore. Right now we are having rain each weekend, which sucks, and several days throughout the week it has been pouring down, big time. People are getting anxious about this year’s planting, which will be difficult to do with this much rain constantly and consistently. I have to say that the worse part of all of this rain is the people that feel so much more pain in their bodies with this much humidity always being in the air. This seriously effects millions of people each day and night and it does weigh on my mind from time to time.

Green Is Better
Filed under: Business and Office, Computers and/or Internet, Environment and/or Green, Money, shopping, technology;Comments OffSince finding out that there are numerous web hosting providers out there that have made it their mission to become as “green” as possible, I have been spending some time asking around and looking around on the Internet. I have found a good resource for this task at webhostingrating.com. They are a web hosting directory along with a very helpful and easy to use independent rating and review service for their large and ever growing lists of web hosting providers.
Picking the right web hosting can make a big difference in your computer needs and if you don’t know much about the subject it is good to have the Internet and sites that have this type of information available. It takes hours and hours of work off of your resource case load. This particular site has a lot of good information about the “green movement” which is an important issue with me and it should be to each and everyone of us, but I won’t get on my soap box about that right now. But I will find out which green provider I will switch to as soon as possible and I’ll keep you posted about it as it comes along, fair enough?

It seems that every other day the gas stations are changing their signs to higher gas prices. One day they had to change the price twice in one day, that is just crazy. We are now up to $3.50 a gallon in our area, while just an hour away you have to pay almost $4 for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline. I’m hoping that we don’t ever see it hit the $5 mark, but with things going the way they are over seas it wouldn’t surprise me.

With so many people experiencing problems with their credit score these days, it only makes sense to keep an eye on what is going on with your credit score. It has become a pretty simple task since the Internet has come along. In a matter of minutes you should be able to find how to receive your free credit score and have it in your hot little hands shortly thereafter.
It is too bad that some how the powers above (the who’s and the whys I’m not sure of) decided that we need three credit bureaus to handle our all important credit reports. I keep wondering when this fiasco will be changed to having just one credit bureau to deal with. It is a time consuming task to deal all three of them and these days we don’t have a lot of extra time, especially during normal business hours, to deal with such nonsense. Come to think of it I just might take a moment or two and do a bit of research on how this deal came about, since no one that I know seems to know anything about. One of life’s big mysteries.
