Friends have been telling me about a new show that comes on Monday nights called, “Harry’s Law.” The show is about a lawyer setting up her practice in the ghetto of a city in Ohio somewhere – I don’t they ever really say where it is supposed to be.

The problem with Monday nights is that I like to watch the Hawaii Five-O show on CBS that comes on the same time as Harry’s Law. But tonight it was a rerun on Hawaii Five-O, so I decided to watch the new show on NBC.

I have to say, this is a very good show. Kathy Bates is a great actress and does a great job with the main character, Harriet aka Harry. The writers are very clever and understand the irony of our legal system and its many failings. They tell a good story and you really feel empathy for the characters. It’s a keeper!
