TLC has a new show called Police Women of Dallas that I’ve seen a few times and am starting to enjoy it more and more. I normally don’t enjoy “cop shows” but this one is just a bit different from the rest enough to keep me entertained and keeps me from feeling as if my intelligence isn’t being insulted by the writers, producers and directors and everyone else concerned.

I’ve never been the type of guy that has to run out and get the first and the best newest piece(s) of technology. I do however enjoy gadgets, tools and electronics as much as the next guy. My cell phone isn’t fancy, it makes and receives calls, when I have a signal) it has the capability to take pictures with it but the quality of the pictures are so bad that I don’t mess with it all that much, unless it is the only option available and I really would like to take a picture. I’m sure it has a calendar, calculator and a few other bells and whistles but it is far from a “Black Berry” and the other top of the line smart phones that so many people are carrying around these days.

One thing that I would really like to have and would be a good Christmas present to receive as a gift this year would be one of the quality but Discount Gps Systems for my pick up truck and a Gps Marine Navigation system for my bass boat would be swell. Who knows I might get lucky and actually get what I want and need that way. Lord knows I don’t need any ties or slippers. Gift cards are always a fool proof gift option as long as it’s through a major credit card company such as VISA, Discover, Master Card or American Express and not linked specifically to one store with a bunch of stipulations and small print.
