Just got an email from my youngest brother informing me that I will need to go by his place a few times over the weekend to feed, water and let his dogs out, get the mail, that kind of stuff, because he and his wife are off to Myrtle Beach South Carolina. He and his wife used to play a lot of golf before he was involved in that awful car accident and totally messed up his back. It has been a slow road for him to get to where he is today four years later. He still needs some surgery done in the near future, but he is doing his therapy, following doctor’s orders, exercising and has lost a good amount of weight, which is good for his diabetes along with his bad back. Anyway he is starting to play golf again this past year and apparently found a sweat deal on some tee times on the Internet and he is off and running.

Hope the weather is good for their trip. Bad weather can ruin the best planned vacations, but it wouldn’t be the first time they played a game of golf in the rain. As long as it doesn’t involve lightening and the wind doesn’t kick up a nice shower can be a pleasant experience on the golf course.
