The best thing on McDonald’s $1 menu is definitely their sweet tea. And you can get all the refills that you can drink. That’s a good deal. I’m glad that other fast food restaurants have caught on to the concept of selling a part of their menu at a reduced price that people can afford these days in such economic turmoil.

It is going on to one year since Obama has been in office. No one that I know or am related to is seeing an improvement in the economy that has been in a crisis for several years now. The unemployment rate is crazy high, there are more and more houses for sale up and down the roads in the neighborhoods and people are getting crazy desperate. Home break ins are on the rise, while drug and alcohol abuse is effecting more and more people all across the country.

More people are using their credit cards in order to survive, with interest rates as crazy as 29.9%. Can you imagine? A good credit repair company can really be helpful in times like this. I know several people that have turned to a credit repair company in order to help them from going under, big time.

I’ve been lucky, the few credit cards that I have I have been able to keep under control and the interest rates are now hovering around 12% which is a good deal in this day and age of soaring interest rates for the general public that are relying on credit cards in order to keep food on their table and a roof under the heads. Not to mention the cost of gas and everything else that we have become accustomed to having in the 21st century.

If I was to be in the market for a good credit repair company I believe that the Internet would be a valuable tool in order to find one that suites the needs for each individual situation. There is help out there and the Internet can make the task of all that type of research a much easier task to tackle.

I love this time of year when all of the people are starting to harvest their back yard gardens. They always over plant and then start giving away all of the over flow to friends, family and co workers. Today I came home with a couple of tomatoes, a green pepper and some wonderful yellow squash that I can’t wait to cook up and enjoy some time this week.

Teri has been trying to locate as many of her relatives as she can fine so that she can hold a huge family reunion next summer.  One of the things that she has found during this endeavor is how many people in her family don’t even own a computer!  They have no interest in learning anything about the Internet!  We were really shocked by this because just about everyone we know in our families use computers and the Internet – at least for email!

So I’ve been thinking about how many people there are in our society that just are not tech savvy enough to take full advantage of valuable financial tools such as Online Trading .  I wonder how many of “us” don’t even know how to open IRA Accounts or get involved in creating wealth through Stock Trading.  I hope that the public schools are teaching the children in high school the things that they are going to need to really get along in the not-so-distant technologically intensive society we are heading into!

Back in the 80′s the Roller Derby was a hot ticket but it faded out shortly after Disco left the scene. I used to enjoy watching the sport from time to time and am pleased to see that it is making a come back. I was looking for a particular video on YouTube.com that I never did find, but I did find this video and found it interesting enough to post it here.
