One of the things that I really like about this time of year is that one of the local dairy farms opens up its ice cream stand. You have to drive out of town to go there, but it is worth the drive. Besides the ice cream being made on the premises, with fresh local milk, there are a miniature golf course and a batting cage for a little bit of date night casual summertime entertainment.

This ice cream is extra creamy, and I like trying out the different flavors. My favorite flavor? Hard to pick, really, but I think that the white chocolate raspberry mouse is right up there! Yummy!
