Teri has been thinking about trading in her eyeglasses for the latest contact lenses.  She’s seen some designer lenses that have special effects like cat’s eyes and she thinks she wants to buy a pair!  I’ve never seen anything like them, except for in the movies!  I think that the new contact lens technology where you can do things like that and make them affordable to the average consumer is awesome!  I think that the contact lens technology is growing in leaps and bounds!

I have always wanted to purchase myself a brand new frost-free freezer. With so many food products that now need to be kept in freezers it is becoming a real challenge finding room to place everything that I am buying at the grocery store each week. I have asked my mother if she would go to Sam’s Club with me sometime in the near future to look and see what types of deals that may have on their chest freezers.

I’m hoping that my tax refund check will be coming shortly and I’d like to use some of that money to buy a few things that I have been needing around the place. I don’t have a membership at the local Sam’s Club, but my mother certainly does and she takes me there on occasion and I have a field day there with her. I like shopping with my mother, we have always had fun times when we hit the stores and I look forward to many more years of shopping with her in the future.

This could be good for so many, if they knew. Please pass it on.

My good friend Tom’s son hopes to be riding in the National Finals Rodeo next December.  He’s been in the Rodeo for the past couple of years, so there’s no reason to think he won’t be again.  So Tom and his wife have invited us to joining them in Las Vegas during the next Rodeo and have a little vacation and attend the Rodeo while we are there to see his son ride.  So Teri and I were looking online for National Finals Rodeo tickets for sale to see what kind of information we could find out about it before we made a decision.

We have always enjoyed going to Rodeos in the past, and we certainly enjoy going to Las Vegas!  So it seems like a logical thing to do, combine the two together!  Well, we were quite surprised to find that the best seats in the arena are $561 EACH!  Yikes!  Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy going first class as much as anybody, but that is a lot more money than we expected!  I guess we’re going to have to ask Tom what his intentions are as to who is paying for the tickets to the Rodeo and where the seats will be!  I also see that the cheapest tickets are only $70, which is a lot more reasonable, but I don’t know how comfortable the seats will be!  I sure do hate sitting on bleachers – I want to at least have seats with backs on them!
