The weather channel is warning us that a big storm is approaching.  The forecast is for “double digit” snowfall, starting Friday night and basically going through most of the weekend.  That sure puts a damper on our plans to go out Christmas shopping Saturday!  I imagine that the retailers are not going to be happy this weekend – I can’t imagine many people will be going out shopping in this kind of storm.  The weatherman says we can expect snow thunder, too!  That is really spooky – the hear thunder when it is snowing.  I’ve only heard that a few times in my life.  I wonder if anyone has ever been struck by snow lightning!
