“A Time To Kill” by John Grisham is my newest read. I received a few good books for Christmas and have just now had enough time to start to read one. Grisham is an absolute master and I’ve always enjoyed his work so I’m sure that “A Time To Kill” will keep me entertained for a few weeks. I always try and make some time for reading, it’s all good!

One of the things my parents taught me about investing money is to diversify my investments.   When it comes to Stock Trading I like to use the services of an Online Broker.  I feel that Online Trading is a good value for several reasons.  One of the reasons being that their overhead is lower so they can afford to charge a lower commission for their work.

And I like the fact that they don’t put any personal pressure on you to make a decision you don’t want to make.  They give you the facts and then let you make the decision based on that fact.  And I like the fact that they are available 24/7.  I realize that the stock market itself isn’t open 24/7, but I like being able to reach my broker any time of the day or night.  Leaving messages on voice mail and playing phone tag is not something I enjoy doing!

I was fascinated to read on the BBC news website’s science page a story about how pictures from a satellite show that the earth’s gravitational pull differs from spot to spot.  What that means is that there are some spots on earth where a person weighs more than on other spots!  I better not let Teri know about this map, she will want to move to where she weighs less!

Teri’s boss gave all of the employees in her office new laptop computers.  Don’t get me wrong, these were not Christmas gifts for the employees to keep.  No, they are for office use.  But what is nice about it is that now the employees can often telecommute and work from home.  Teri is thrilled that she can now spend less time at the office and stay home and work in her jammies if she wants to!

He boss told Teri that she could have her pick of  laptop bag for her computer and that the company would pay for it, within reason.  So Teri has been online looking for one that looks more like a purse than a piece of luggage.  I never paid that much attention to how many different styles there are to choose from!

Teri has found some really nice Franklin Covey bags that look terrific!  They really don’t look like a computer would be in them, they just look like some really nice fashion accessories.  I wonder which one she’ll pick!
