jellybean-1Teri and I have been looking at glass tiles for swimming pools on the glasstilestore.com website.  Her sister Darla has decided that it’s time to consider installing a small lap pool in her back yard, and we’ve agreed to help her with the research involved.  Darla and her hubby and sons love to swim, and they spend so much time at the Aquatic Center that they’ve determined that it would be just plain good sense to put the pool in.  Since the Aquatic Center really isn’t close to home, I think that is a good idea; it will save a lot of running back and forth and trying to work around when the Center is open and the pool is available.  That will save on their time, and on the expense of gas and car maintenance.

I’ve been really impressed by the huge selection of tiles on that website!  And not just pool tiles; I’ve been looking around at the other tiles on their site.  Simply beautiful!  And I saw that they will send out sample of their tiles for only $5.00.  I think that’s reasonable!  I especially like the idea that they also sell glass tiles that have been recycled.  And I absolutely LOVE the pebble tile that looks like jelly beans!  I’m going to have to try to find a use for that in our house somewhere!

I was really surprised to read about the exploitation of Erin Andrews recently. In case you’ve been hiding under your bedsheets, you’ve probably heard about how the beautiful sportscaster Erin Andrews of ESPN was violated recently by a sleazebag videotaping her standing in front of the hotel room mirror, curling her hair. Unfortunately for Erin, she was nude at the time. And of course, the videotape found its way onto the Internet, which is really sad. I hope they catch the guy and toss his butt in jail. In the meantime, everyone should take some masking tape with them when they travel and put over the peephole when they aren’t using it themselves! It would be good if the hotels put some sliding door over it for the occupants to use, but until then, masking tape should work just fine.
