All right, I admit it.  I like looking at garden equipment whenever I get the chance.  I’ve always been fascinated by the big machines and all of their bells and whistles.  Deep down inside, I would really love to be a farmer so I could work with farm and garden equipment all day long!  I’d have several zero turn mowers, that’s for sure!

I already have a post hole digger – I’ve used that when we were putting in a new fence last year.  Maybe I should look into doing one of those work-vacations some time where you actually work at a fantasy job.  I’m sure I’d be playing with the skid steer attachments and the big tractors every chance I got!

Teri thinks I’m crazy, I’m sure.  She’ll look at me and ask me what in the world am I talking about?  Don’t I realize that farming is really hard work?  Well, I’d still like to give it a try.  Then she tells me that maybe I should start small and put in a vegetable garden in our back yard!

This morning I was driving Teri to the truck repair shop to pick up my truck. The weirdest thing happened. A deer ran half-way across the road, stopped, turned to face me and then charged my car head-on! Like we were playing a game of chicken! I stopped the car as quickly and safely as I could, and at the last moment the deer swerved off to the side and ran off the road and disappeared into the bushes. I have NEVER had anything happen like that before!
