In a recent previous post, I was talking about not being able to find any local soup kitchens.  I’m beginning to wonder if any exist anywhere anymore!  With this economy, and people losing their jobs and their homes, there certainly is going to be a big need for them!  I was just searching the local yellowpages on the Internet, trying to find some.  I went to local.com and did a local search for “soup kitchens.” 

The only thing that popped up was a listing for several local restaurants and some links to places where I could go to find soup recipes!  NormallyI really like the local.com website because it DOES help me to find local businesses.  So I’m guessing there just aren’t any soup kitchens in the area.  I wonder if and when any will appear!  It seem to me that is something that the Salvation Army would sponsor.  Perhaps I should try doing a search for the local Salvation Army and see if they have a webpage with information about it!
