I’ve been hearing a lot about the increase in home invasions in nearby neighborhoods, and I’ve started to be a little bit more cautious with our belongings. So far the thefts haven’t reached this neighborhood, but it’s probably only a matter of time. Although we have a neighborhood watch program here, there are several houses that are hard to see because of the landscaping the homeowners have in their front yards. I think it would be a really good idea to suggest to our neighbors that we all invest in a  Home Security System for each of our houses for that extra bit of security that we are going to be wanting to have.

I’d hate to think of Teri coming home from running errands one day and interrupting a burglar in our house. I think a Security System could help to prevent that from happening. When we bought this house, we noticed that there were ADT signs on the windows, and a keypad on the bedroom wall, but we never did anything to activate it. Maybe now is the time to make that phone call. I bet we could get a good deal since the equipment is already here!
