    In this highly stressful time, it is even more important for people to pay close attention to their nutrition.  Proper nutrition will help people stay healthy – especially in stressful times.  One of the most vital parts of proper nutrition is getting enough protein in your diet.  Protein is what makes people feel “full” for longer periods of time because it breaks down slowly in the gastric system.  One of the challenges vegetarians face is getting enough protein to stay healthy. 

    There are several ways to increase one’s intake of protein without having to eat more meat.  One of the best sources of meatless proteins is through the use of organic whey.  Another good source of protein is combining grains with lentils.  Another easy way to consume protein is to drink a protein shake, or to add some flavorless protein powder to a glass of juice or other beverage.
