I was reading on the livescience.com website that there is a new use for recycled glass that I had never heard of before.  I guess that shouldn’t surprise me; I’m sure there are lots of uses for recycled things I had never heard of!  But this is really an awesome use – recycled glass is being used in the landscaping industry as decorative mulch!  It is colorful and can be used to create a lot of different designs.  The glass basically looks like small pebbles; the sharp edges are rounded off.  I think that sounds like a great idea!
