I really like ceiling fans. They add a touch of class to almost any room, and they increase the comfort level significantly. Teri and I want to put a few ceiling fans throughout the house; we think that the investment will pay off because it will make the house more comfortable and lower our energy consumption.

We found some really nice Casablanca ceiling fans that can be used in damp and/or wet locations that we want to install on our back patio. That would make the patio a lot more comfortable for us to be relaxing on while we socialize and eat dinner out there.

And there are some attractive Craftmade fans that I’d like to put in the recreation room in the basement.  It’s important to keep air moving in the basement, and the rec room needs it!  I’d add a light kit to add much needed lighting to the room as well.

We’ve heard that Hunter ceiling fans are the quietest fans, so we would like to put one of them in the living room, so that we can watch television and have quiet conversation without having to deal with trying to drown out the noise of a fan.
