Rubbing elbows
Comments OffI have a nephew that is going to Princeton University in New Jersey. (Yeah, we brag about him because he is the first in our family to go to an Ivy League school!) GO “J”!
One of the coolest things about going to an Ivy League school is all of the social connections that you can make without even trying, just pursuing your own interests, you bump into highly-connected people.
Well, that seems to be happening to our nephew “J.” He has been meeting some pretty wealthy and powerful people that are trying to entice him to come work for them during the summer break on internships, and then perhaps work for them when he graduates.
One of the most promising offers involves him living in Manhattan. Now that is very exciting to him, because he has grown up in a rural area and is just “chomping at the bit” to taste the “big city life.” So, he will be checking out that for sure.
