My view on the world, as seen from whatever vehicle I’m in!

We have some new neighbors that just moved into the area last week from Dallas Texas.  They are a young couple, about our age.  They are very nice, and we like them a lot.  In fact, they’ve invited us to dinner tonight, promising us some of the best Texas chili we’ve ever eaten!  I’m really looking forward to that – I love chili!  We’re taking over some cornbread and a salad that Teri’s making later today.  Should be a great meal, and a good opportunity to get to know each other better!

The only thing that’s been a little bit difficult for us in regards to them is that they are constantly calling us asking us for advice on where to find and/or get a product or a service.  Not that we mind, we are more than welcome to let them know where we think are the best places to take their business.  The problem has been, though, that they don’t call at convenient times.  It seems that they have some uncanny knack for knowing when is the worst time to call, and that’s when they call!

That’s why I’m going to suggest that they try to use the local.com website to help them find most of the local things that they need before they give us a call.
