Furnishing a guest room
No CommentsWe’ve been trying to decide how to furnish one of the guest rooms that we have in our house. For a long time we were using the room simply as storage, which was handy enough, but mostly due to laziness as we could just as easily stored most of that stuff in the basement, or got rid of it in some way – like donating it to charity or posting it on freecycle. Anyway, one of our New Year’s resolutions is to whip that room into shape and create a genuine guest room.
We want to create one that would be welcoming to kids or adults alike, so we’ve been taking a look at a website that specializes in Kids Bedroom furniture to see what we can come up with. We’ve been browsing around the site, and I was surprised to see a Kids Desk on their site that looked remarkably like the desk that I had as a kid! What a laugh, and great memories that brought back to me, to see that there!
I was quite impressed with the large selection of Wooden Childrens Furniture that they have on their website, but I was really interested in the bunk bed combinations that they have where a double bed is on the bottom and a twin bed is on the top. I think that is a really great way to maximize the space in the bedroom, and make it comfortable for both kids and adults.
