I was just reading on the Time.com website that a British television station has announced that it is planning to broadcast a show that was filmed documenting an American man’s assisted suicide in a Swissclinic.  The man was suffering from an incurable painful disease and chose to kill himself.  Assisted suicide is illegal in many countries, but not in Switzerland.  So the man chose to go to a special clinic there with his wife and killed himself.   The film shows the actual suicide, and the actual real moment of death – this is not acting in any way; it is real life.  I don’t know about you, but that is not a show that I would want to watch – I am not “into” watching people die!
