Teri told me that she is planning to have a little party here with her friends.  They are going to spend some time looking at the cheapwholesalejewelry website and pool their money together to buy a lot of jewelry to give as Christmas presents for the ladies on their lists.  Of course, they’ll be ordering some to keep for themselves, too!  Teri asked me to make my very famous Lazy Day Peanut Butter cookies to serve as one of the refreshments at the party.  Of course I said yes, they are so simple to make and I always get raves for them!

Teri showed me the website that they will be looking at.  They have a huge variety of wholesale fashion jewelry for sale.  They sell women’s and men’s jewelry.  I was looking at their Red Hat jewelry, thinking I might buy some of that for my mother for a Christmas gift, who just joined a Red Hat club recently.  They do require a minimum order of $100 per order, and some of the offerings require that you buy more than one of that item.  That’s one of the reasons why Teri decided to have her little party with her friends, so they can take advantage of the great wholesale prices.

I was reading an article on the BBC website that British Pregnancy Advisory Service  (BPAS) has decided that it will prescribe the “morning after pill” for free in England and Wales in advance of the woman “needing” it.  The reasoning behind this decision is that the BPAS feels that it is a good idea to give women the pill before they need it, to have on hand “just in case.”

Another reason for the decision is based on the fact that many retail pharmacies and family planning clinics will be closed over the holidays, which would make it more difficult for women to get the pill if they need it.  I realize that the “morning after pill” is a controversial subject, and it is not my intention to open a discussion as to whether it is a good thing or not, but regardless of my personal feelings for “the morning after pill” I always think that planning ahead is a good thing.

Sometimes I think my sister is a real nut case!  She called me last night, talking about plans for the family Christmas “get together.”  Everything is still “up in the air” regarding pretty much everything.  But that’s nothing new!  Anyway, while we were chatting on the phone I was sorting through the mail, and commented on how much I hate getting so much junk mail.  She told me that she tries to send most of it back to the companies that include SASE reply envelopes.  She said she tears it up and stuffs it into the envelope and seals it and puts it back in the mail.  She said that way she is giving job security to the postal workers and the mail clerks at the big companies.  And, she said that most of those big companies recycle their paper trash, so the paper will end up being recycled.  We had a good laugh over that!  She is a real character!

I am just totally amazed that some people are so desperate to prevent Barack Obama from becoming the President that they have filed lawsuits claiming that he is ineligible to be president, claiming that he is not a “natural born” citizen.  He has been proven to have been born in Hawaii, which is one of the fifty states of the United States.  That alone makes him a “natural born” citizen, as the law states that anyone born in the United States is a natural born citizen!  Plus, his mother was an American citizen, and the law also states that if you are born to an American citizen, then you are also an American citizen.  Thank goodness the courts are refusing to hear the cases!  So give it up guys, the guy is legal!  Let him do his job!
