I have always been interested in grandfather clocks.  Whenever I go into anyone’s home, if I see that they have a grandfather clock, I always ask them a lot of questions about the clock.  Questions like “where did you get the clock” and “why did you get it” and “how long have you had it” and “do you still like it as much now as you did when you first got it.”  I simply find Grandfather Clocks fascinating!

I’d love to have a few Grandfather Clocks myself.  I’d love to have one in my foyer, in my family room, and in my den.  Of course they would each be a different style.  I’d love to have the one in my foyer have a storage bench/seat and hooks on it so people could sit on the bench to remove their boots and/or shoes, and store their hats and gloves in the storage bench, and hang their coats on the hooks.  In the family room I’d like to have one that has enclosed glass shelves on it to act as a display case for our collectibles.  And in my den I’d like to have one that looks like an old-fashioned street clock – you know, the kind that looks like an old fashioned street lamp post with a clock on top!
