Teri and I are going out to celebrate the New Year’s at a local hotel that is throwing a big party.  We’ve reserved a room for the night at the same hotel so that when we get tired we don’t have to bother with trying to get home, we can just go up to the room and sleep.  We decided that would be a good idea also to avoid driving home with any alcohol in our system, or take the chance of being hit by a drunk driver on the way home.  I hope you all have a safe and fun New Year’s Eve celebration, and have a Happy New Year!

For Christmas Teri and I both got several Wal-Mart gift cards.  Two of them were email gift cards that we have to use at the Wal-Mart.com website.  We were kind of annoyed about those email gift cards because they limit you to only buying from the website, and we really did not want to pay for shipping.  I know that you can avoid shipping fees if you pick up the order at your local store, but then the shipping takes a lot longer to actually get the thing that you order.  The last time we bought something from their website it was to use up gift cards and we chose to have the items shipped to our house so we would get them sooner. 

I was absolutely delighted to find that there is a Walmart free shipping code that we can use on our order from the Walmart.com website!  We found the code from the officedeals.info website.  That website lists coupons and discounts for a large variety of popular online merchants.  It’s a great place to go to for discounts on home and office supplies such as rubber stamps, laptop computers, or even some beautiful new down bedding for the beds in the guest room.

Can you imagine looking into your refrigerator to find something to eat, and it is crammed so full that you can hardly move anything around, and yet you find nothing that you want to eat?  Me neither, but that is what seems to be happening to me today!  We have so many leftovers from Christmas that I’ve already had a couple of times that I really don’t want to eat them again.  And yet, I don’t want to throw away good food, either!  What a dilemma!  Don’t get me wrong, the food is great, I just need a little change.  I would tell Teri to tuck the food into the freezer, but I looked in there and it is jammed full too!  What a dilemma, so much food, but none of it is what I want to eat!  Oh, wait a minute, I just remembered seeing some nacho chips, and some salsa and some shredded cheese    Nachos, here I come!

Teri and I are planning our next vacation to Orlando.  We enjoy going to several of the attractions there - one of Teri’s favorite attractions in Orlando is Sea World.  The last time we went to Sea World, it was one of our best vacation experiences ever.  We were picked out of the employees walking through the crowds of people walking through the gate to be participants in one of the shows, where we competed against other couples.  We had to dress in silly clown costumes and do silly competition things.  It was fun, and we won.  I can’t remember WHAT we won, but it was fun anyway. 

Later on we watched the show that they had with the whales and dolphins.  We were smart enough to sit far enough back that we would not get splashed when they jumped out of the water.  That kind of animal training has always fascinated both of us.  If I could have a fantasy job that would be it!  A dolphin trainer!  I know it is hard work, but it also looks like a lot of fun!

Naturally, we are going to want to get discount sea world tickets from the  Orlando Fun Tickets website for the next time we go to Orlando!  I’ve heard that Sea World is offering a 2nd day free when you buy a one day ticket!
