I was reading on the Time.com website that on Friday morning, around 6am a Wal-Mart employee was trampled to death by unruly shoppers in one of the Wal-Mart stores in Long Island New York!  The article says that a throng of shoppers broke down the store’s doors, knocking the man down and trampling him to death!  I find this news most distressing!  I cannot fathom people so excited by Wal-Mart shoppers on Black Friday that they break down the store’s doors and trample a man to death!  I just cannot imagine the mob mentality that had to be going on right then – for shopping?!  I find it interesting that the news article comes right on the heels of my post the other day about whether or not New Yorkers are rude!  What is more rude than breaking down the store doors and trampling an employee to death?  I guess maybe New Yorkers are more rude than many other city residents!  What a horrible shame this is.
