This morning I was checking my emails (as usual) and spending a few minutes waking up, drinking my morning tea, browsing around the Internet, looking at the news.  I stumbled upon an MSNBC.com website that had links to weird news.  I am always interested in reading strange news, so I spent about a half hour this morning checking out the different weird news stories.  I have to say that was a good way to spend a few minutes, reading about out-of-the-ordinary occurrences, like the guy who was trying to break open an ATM and ended up getting hurt and needed to go to the hospital, and about the guy who escaped from jail, only to return that same night to ask to be let back in, and about the priest who was arrested for jogging in the nude, and the student who broke into a panda bear’s cage to get a hug and ended up being mauled.  I think I’ll be checking out that site again – very interesting reading, and a good way to take a break from all of the “usual” news stuff like politics and the stock market and the economy and the war.
