Teri has been asking me to start to think about our vacation trip that we want to take later this winter.  We always like to go someplace warm during the winter, to help break up the winter into smaller, more manageable “pieces.”  Doing that has its pros and cons, however; it DOES break up the winter into smaller pieces, but it does make it really hard to come back from a warm climate into the colder climate!  Sometimes when we do that we find ourselves talking about just moving south and getting rid of the winter blues completely! 

One of our favorite destinations for a winter vacation is the Orlando Florida area.  We never get tired of walking around Disney’s Epcot Center!  We love to watch the shows and sample the cuisine of the different countries there!

When we do go on vacation, we always try to find a good deal on vacation rentals of a house, townhouse, or condominium.  We much prefer having the space to spread out and relax instead of being cooped up in a small hotel room.  We find that we sleep much better, too.  Whenever we stay in a hotel room we are always awakened at least once by noisy people walking down the hallway to their room! 

We also love the convenience of having a full sized kitchen available to us because we like to go to the local grocery stores and stock up on breakfast foods, and then we always cook breakfast in our condo before going out. We enjoy the leisurely pace, and financial savings by doing that.
