As you have probably figured out by now, Teri and I love to bargain hunt. So I have been bargain hunting today and thought I’d share with you some of the bargains I’ve found.
I found a personalized beautiful English garden necklace in a matching box from the thingsremembered website that I think I’ll buy for Teri. It is in the website’s clearance section for only $19.99! I stumbled upon the necklace when I went to the www.1-coupons.com/coupons/things-remembered.htm link to find discounts and coupons for the thingsremembered website. I know Teri will be stunned when she opens that gift box come Christmas morning!
I also found a great coupon deal on a Kodak EasyShare HD C913 Silver 9.2 MP 2.4″ 115K LCD 3X Optical Zoom Digital Camera. It’s a 9.2 Mexapixal camera for under $100! Can you believe that deal? I found that on their newegg coupon page. Teri and I have been talking about buying a second digital camera, we only have one between the two of us and it seems that we can never find that one! So I think it’s time we got a second camera so we can each have one of our own.
With winter coming on, we both want to order some fleece lined jeans from the LL Bean website – there are some great coupons there for LL Bean, too! Those will help us to lower our thermostat to save on our heating bill, and yet still be nice and cozy warm. And with the LL Bean satisfaction guarantee we KNOW we’ll be getting a high quality product that will last through several winters!
And I see that Best Buy has a special coupon that expires this weekend that says we can save 10% – 32% off select GPS, plus free shipping. I checked it out and they have discounts on almost all of the big name brands. I have a niece who is getting her driver’s license next spring – this would be a great gift to give her for her 17th birthday!
Pretty good bargain hunting day!

I guess I haven’t been paying as close attention to the business world as I had thought lately, or maybe the news has just been so full of the election that somehow I missed the story (or stories) about the financial woes that Circuit City was having. I did hear that they were closing a lot of stores, but that did not surprise me too much because the economy has been so bad that I figured that a lot of businesses were going to be doing exactly that – closing down stores. After all the consumer doesn’t have the money to buy the products, so the stores are going to be downsizing and consolidating. So it was with quite a bit of surprise that I heard today that Circuit City is filing for bankruptcy! I was just reading an article on the Time.com website that said that essentially that is due to poor management – using the example that their competitor (Best Buy) has been showing a profit. So I’d have to say that the “proof is in the pudding” and that really is too bad.
