I was hearing on the news this morning that the airports are going to open several “slow lanes” for the security lanes for people with families and needing special assistance.  The whole idea behind this lane is to speed up the other lanes.  I think this is a wonderful idea!  It gets very frustrating for the busy travelers to get “stuck” behind large numbers of families with small children (especially the ones with strollers and diaper bags!)  Don’t get me wrong, I love children and don’t begrudge them their wonderful travel plans, I just get frustrated sometimes when the security lanes are backed up and moving slowly because it takes so long to process special situations like this.  I’ve heard that ALL the major airports will have this new system in place by Thanksgiving, which should help the Holiday travelers a lot!
