My view on the world, as seen from whatever vehicle I’m in!

All the town is abuzz wit the sad news that last night two local teenagers were killed in a car accident.  They were driving down one of the twisty-turny back country roads when the driver lost control of the vehicle, went over an embankment and hit a tree.  Although both of the victims were wearing seat belts, they both died.  One of the teenagers was a senior at the local high school; the other had recently graduated.  This is a small town but the news has travelled slowly (which surprises me.)

So far no one has said that drugs or alcohol were involved, just excessive speed.  Which brings me to the point of the title of this post – kids have a tendency to think that they cannot die; they think they are immortal.  That is why insurance rates are so high for young drivers – they take unneccessary risks because they think they are invincible.  This is a sad lesson – I hope the other young drivers in the area take heed and slow down – there are a lot of crazy drivers out here!
