Today Teri asked me if I wanted to help her pick out some Christmas Costumes for us to wear this Christmas time from the halloweenadventure.com website. Our offices are going to be holding several large Christmas parties for some local needy families, with the employees encouraged to dress in costume to create a more festive holiday atmosphere for the children.
Over the past couple of weeks we’ve been looking at Halloween Costume Stores for the perfect Christmas costumes, but haven’t yet come up with the costumes that really “catch our fancy.” I’d really like to dress up as characters from “The Nutcracker” - I’ve always like the toy soldiers.
We’ve been giving some thought as to asking Teri’s mother to sew our costumes for us; she always does a fantastic job on whatever she sews. I’ve seen some really nice clothes that she’s made in the past! But I know she hasn’t been feeling well lately, so I’d rather not have to put that kind of pressure on her if we can find something ready made.
Looking over the website that Teri brought to my attention, I’ve bookmarked the site because I saw some cute elf costumes, and also some pretty funny Rudolph the reindeer costumes. Either of those would be good to wear at a Christmas costume party.

I was reading on the yahoo news that Max the dognapped Maltese was found in Chicago, months after being stolen from his home in Florida. He was found because he had a microchip in his neck, which led to his owner being found and contacted. There was no information about how Max was actually found, whether he was wandering the streets, or what exactly happened. I do wish that information had been provided.
I can remember when I was younger that there were rumors going around that people dognapped pets in order to sell them to labs where they would be experimented on. I never found out for sure if that was true or not. But I will say that it makes a lot of sense nowadays to get any pet microchipped, just in case they get lost or stolen! The microchip will help the pet get home again if the pet is ever taken to a vet or shelter.

I think it would be so cool to have Personalised Number Plates on all of our cars. It would certainly make it easier to find our own cars in crowded parking lots! The northumbrianumbers.com website helps consumers to find and buy personalised number plates in the United Kingdom. It will even help you to sell your old personalised plate if you are tired of it! They will do all of the required paper work, so it is easy to get the plate you want!

I was reading on an Internet news website about the dilemma of the gray wolf in several states. This particular article was about the gray wolf in Wyoming. Apparently Wyoming is attempting to control the wolf population but protect it from extinction at the same time. So wolves will be protected in some areas, such as parks, but allowed to be shot on sight in other areas, to help the farmers to protect their livestock. I can see where on paper that makes sense, but I can’t help but wonder how the state is going to educate the wolves as to where they can and can’t go? Supposedly the state wants fifteen breeding pairs, and a total of 150 wolves statewide. That does not seem like a lot of wolves to me - for the entire state, it seems that they would want more than that. But then again, I don’t actually have any kind of expertise on stuff like that.
