I cannot even imagine trying to run a business without the ability to accept credit cards. In today’s day and age, in this credit based economy, credit cards are the mainstay of the economy! I use credit cards to pay for everything I can possibly use them for! They help me keep track of my expenses, and I like the “float” that I get for not paying for something right away. There have been times when I’ve gone into a store and wanted to buy something but was unable to do that when they told me that they don’t take credit cards. I just don’t carry a lot of cash around with me, so credit cards are vital to my purchasing habits!

The Online Checks company has a website at onlinecheck.com that helps merchants set up a merchant account without fees or contracts. They even offer a free credit card machine! So it would be really easy and inexpensive for a business to get started with their merchant account by checking them out when they are ready to take the plunge into accepting credit cards.

I was really surprised to read on the Time.com website today that General Motors is going to sell the Hummer brand!  I guess that the sales have not been up to expectations!  I never liked the Hummer to begin with, I think that they are awkward looking and consume more fuel that in reasonable.  I wonder what company will be fuelish (get the pun?) enough to buy it?

I don’t know why it is, but I just cannot seem to find a good painkiller that is over the counter.  I get some pretty bad headaches from time to time that I don’t think are migraines, but it does not matter what kind of over the counter pain killer I take, that headache just will not go away!  It is very frustrating, and it makes me cranky all day long!
