Quartz Crystals have long fascinated me. I like to hold the quartz crystal in my hand and just feel the energy.  I carry a crystal in my left pocket and rub it in my hand from time to time during the day.  It brings me a sense of calmness and focus.

The divinecrystals.com.au website is a very interesting website that sells crystals and talks about their healing properties.  Maybe I should buy my mother one of their crystal gifts – they have a nice Amazonite egg with ring stand that would look really nice on my mother’s curio cabinet shelf.

I was looking at my appointment calendar a few minutes ago and realized that my mother’s birthday is rapidly approaching. I haven’t figured out what to buy her yet! She is one difficult lady to buy gifts for – she proclaims she likes whatever it is that you give her, but when you go over to her house you never see any sign of it, so you never know what she did with it! She has everything she needs, and buys whatever she wants. When you ask her what she wants for her birthday, she’ll usually say “nothing.” This is going to take some serious thought – or a restaurant gift card!

Well I got the estimate of damage on my car today – it is going to cost more than $5,000 to repair it!  I’ve sent a copy of the estimate to my insurance company and to my neighbor.  My neighbor is being uncooperative in the entire matter, claiming that he has no liability in the issue at all.  So my insurance is going to pay for now so I can get my car fixed, and then they will go after my neighbor to try to get their money back.  I hope my premiums don’t go up over this!
