The northumbrianumbers.com website specializes in obtaining “Cherished number” number plates for cars in the United Kingdom. The website can help you find out if the number you want is available, and order it for you. If you already own a “Cherished number” and wish to sell it, they will broker the sale for you. Their website also has informative links about transferring plate numbers and laws regarding the number plates.

My mother called me this afternoon, quite upset because her sister has taken ill and was rushed to the hospital. They think she has suffered a stroke. Everyone is very concerned because we don’t know at this point what the recovery process will be like. So discussion is starting about how to care for her. I’m trying to reassure my mother that everything will work out, but she is understandably very worried about her. They live a few states apart from each other, so my mother is going to fly out as soon as possible to where my aunt lives to be with her and help out as best she can.

Male breast reduction
Filed under: Computers and/or Internet, Education, Friends and/or Family, General Life, Health, Shopping, Technology; No CommentsI was reading an interesting article over the Internet today about male breast reduction. The website was brought to my attention by my cousin Bob, who is thinking about having a procedure done to address his gynaecomastia condition. He has had abnormally large breasts for a very long time now, and he has always been very self conscious about it. He has finally saved up enough money to have a procedure done to reduce their size and he was telling me to check out this website about the condition and procedure. I found the website to be very informative. I didn’t know that much about gynaecomastia, and the causes and treatments for it!
Anyway, there is a section that talks about the recovery from the procedure and it indicates that there will be some discomfort for a few days. That just brought to mind how many times I’ve gone to a doctor and heard the doctor say “there will be some discomfort” and how much pain was actually involved. I think that the phrase they use is deceptive, and they ought to just come right out and say “this is gonna hurt like crazy!”
Anyway, the website is interesting, and it provides links to doctors that perform the procedures. Bob is going to pursue it further and see what happens. I wish him luck!

I was watching CNN a few minutes ago and they were talking about the Democratic Convention coming up. They were talking about how the CNN crew will be down on the floor with the delegates at the Pepsi Center, and how that is a big deal because the rest of the news crews are up in the sky boxes. Being down on the floor will give them a unique perception of the electricity of the crowd. That got me thinking about how many times I’ve been in a large crowd and how there really DOES seem to be some kind of electricity in a crowd. I think it would be interesting if someone created some kind of a machine that measured that type of effect and did some research on it.
