We’ve been hearing that there has been a rash of break-ins in the area. People’s homes are being broken into while they are away at work. Some of them have been while the residents were away on a long weekend’s vacation.  We live in an area where many of the neighbors’ homes are not visible from the road due to some beautiful landscaping with trees. I heard that in some cases a moving van was pulled into the driveway and completely loaded up and drove away with all of the family’s valuables without anyone even noticing!

We had organized a Neighborhood Watch system, but that hasn’t worked very well lately. It’s been getting difficult to keep it organized because so many of the neighbors are now working full time. Most of the families can’t afford to have someone stay home all the time anymore.   My job has me on the road a lot, traveling away for days, sometimes weeks at a time.  So my girlfriend and I are going to be checking the ADT Home Security Systems Company’s website for a quote on their service.  I’ve been told that the ADT Company is one of the most reliable and efficient companies that provide Home Security Systems.  I want my girlfriend to feel secure when she’s here alone if I’m traveling without her.
